Mission and Vision

Mission
Marillac Center, established in the spirit of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, provides an environment of prayer, peace, hope and transformation. Through this center, located adjacent to the Sisters of Charity Mother House, the Sisters share their holy ground, their story and charism with those who seek to grow spiritually and deepen their quest for God.

Vision
Retreats, conferences, spiritual, holistic and educational programs are offered through Marillac Center. Guests are received in a spirit of hospitality offered in humility, simplicity and charity.

What Is Marillac Center?

A modern facility, Marillac is located on a 240-acre campus with walkways, lovely fountains and natural landscaping. The Center answers a need for a retreat and spirituality facility in the Midwest. "I praise God for God's goodness to you and the time, effort, planning that enables your Sisters of Charity to build such a beautiful center as Marillac.  The physical aspects are beautiful, comfortable and well planned.  It has an atmosphere of welcoming, peace and prayer.  Your Sisters help to make it all that.  It was my first time to enjoy the new Marillac.  I am truly privileged and grateful.  May God continue to bless you."
